We established in 2012 to provide professional, reliable and safe home support care to facilitate people who want to remain independent in their home environment surrounded by family and friends.

Who We Are
Our team is led by Nursing qualified practitioners, Social Care professionals, and community care professionals and all of their learning and experience feeds into the company ethos and values.
We deliver 24/7 supervised home support care services on behalf of the HSE and to clients who engage us in a private capacity.
Our service is delivered by experienced, qualified and dedicated home care professionals. We really get to know our clients and family network, and we work to best match carers with clients.

Applewood Homecare is committed to promoting the highest possible standards of openness, probity and accountability. Despite our best efforts things may go wrong and result in harm being experienced.
We have adopted the HSE National Open Disclosure Policy and Guidelines and our staff are required to undertake on-line training to understand and keep up to date on the issues involved.

Applewood In the Community
Everyone can help with small acts of kindness in their communities – be it volunteering with your time or supporting local non-profits which work to enhance the life of older persons.
We operate monthly an in-house Client Give Back Scheme to promote clients re-connecting with community and positive aging. Our staff regularly participate in sponsored running events which the company supports and Bake Off’s and Tea Parties are a favourite in the Terenure Office.
Our management and staff give their own time to help in community projects and we actively support various charities in our areas.
We are involved with the MenShed Terenure and the Evergreen Club in Terenure which provides a wide variety of community projects and programmes of interest to Older People including regular tea dances, Friday Friends Club, choir, exercise classes, art classes etc and events such as Concerts, Exhibitions, Fashion Shows, Bingo Loco and the annual Blooms Day.
