Studies recognise that acquired sensory loss not only affects the individual but can also significantly impact the well-being of the entire family unit. This is because the emotional impacts are every bit as significant as the physical in terms of challenges faced by people. UK and US studies have found (understandably) high levels of anxiety and depression in individuals who have experienced sensory loss and also flag this needs to be acknowledged with supports put in place for them and their families.
We understand that everyone’s experience is individual and unique. That is why we tailor our range of care services to specifically match each clients’ need.
