Applewood Homecare Sandymount Office Update

Applewood Homecare is delighted to share an update from our Sandymount office, marking the halfway point of our first year serving Dublin 4.  This expansion reflects our continued commitment to supporting clients and staff across Ringsend, Sandymount, Ballsbridge, Donnybrook, Ranelagh, Churchtown, and surrounding areas.

The Sandymount office has already become a valuable hub for both our Care Management team and our carers. As well as providing essential office and drop-in space, it’s now a key location for our recruitment, training, and planning activities.

Recruitment Open Days

Since February we’ve held two highly successful Recruitment Open Days our Sandymount office.  These events have sparked strong community engagement, and staff are regularly meeting interested carers and clients each week. We’re proud to have welcomed 30 new, highly qualified and compassionate carers to the Applewood team as a result.

These new team members are sincere, caring and responsible people bring professionalism, dedication, and a wealth of experience—strengthening the quality of care we offer. We plan to host more Recruitment Open Days soon as we continue building a strong team to serve the community.

Training and Dementia Workshops

Our new space is being actively used for training sessions and workshops. Senior management have already hosted several Risk Assessment and Quality Planning workshops on-site, and we’re continuing to roll out our Dementia Workshops for all care staff to keep everyone up to date.

Applewood have over 12years experience with supporting clients with dementia or Alzheimer’s to remain comfortably and safely at home.  Ongoing staff training helps us maintain the highest standards of care.
