15 Dec Blood Tests Tallaght Hospital at new Rynd Suite

The Adult Phlebotomy (Blood Tests) Department is now located in the new Rynd Suite which is located on the ground floor of  Tallaght University Hospital.

Directions

  • When you go through the main hospital entrance, walk past the information desk.
  • Turn left just after the lifts.
  • Walk down to the end of this long corridor, there are 2 check-in kiosks.
  • Check-in to confirm your attendance for your blood test appointment.
  • Turn right on to corridor and take the first turn left into the Rynd Suite.

Appointment Only Blood Tests

If your GP or the Tallaght University Hospital Out-patient Clinic (“Hospital Bloods”) orders blood tests for you then you must book appointment via Swiftqueue.com The site is quite user friendly, you create a log in, enter your information and there are drop down menus to choose your location and the service you require. The system then provides you with an appointment time.

You must remember to bring the relevant request forms with you as bloods cannot be taken without them.

The Phlebotomy Department in TUH offers two types of services with opening times as follows:

Opening Hours

  • GP Referral Service: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 2:30pm
  • Out-Patient Clinic Referral Service: Monday to Friday 8am to 4:45pm

Once you have booked your appointment and you arrive in the hospital for your blood test please remember to Check-in at the Kiosks on way to the Phlebotomy Clinic to let the Blood Clinic know you are have arrived.

You need to check in up to 15 minutes before your appointment time. When you have checked in, please take a seat in the Rynd Suite and wait for your name to be called.

Please Note: You cannot register earlier than 30 minutes before your appointment time.
