What Makes Our Homecare Different

What makes Applewood Homecare Different From Others?

Applewood Homecare is a wholly owned and family run Irish Company. We are strongly and personally invested in the quality of our care service.  We deliver professional, reliable, responsive and safe in-house person-centred homecare support through caring, dedicated and qualified staff as good as family.  Our goal is to ensure our clients can remain in their home environment and community content amongst friends and family for as long as is practical.

Care Givers

Is there a minimum period of care provided?

Our care support visits range from 1 hour to 24 hour care, the service is flexible and centred on the individual’s needs. We are available 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Office hours are 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday and an on-call system operates with someone available 24 hours a day to deal with emergencies.

Will I have the same care giver all of the time?

Applewood Homecare work hard to provide consistency – the same care giver to the client, however this is based on the service and number of hours required each week. Any care giver that will be assisting with your care service will be introduced to you and will be advised of your needs as agreed in your individual Care Plan.

Are you able to work with public health nurses and social services to provide care at home?

Yes, we are a HSE Approved Provider and we are working with multidisciplinary healthcare teams on a daily basis to provide our clients with a responsive comprehensive solution to their care needs.

Do you provide live-in carers?

Yes, we provide live-in Carers – please phone us on 01 4992201 to discuss your requirements.

What is the Applewood Homecare Back Up Service?

At Applewood Homecare we understand there can be times when carers need extra support. Perhaps you are the sole carer for a family member or friend and at this point do not need the services of Home care? By registering for our back up service, it can provide you with peace of mind that should you get sick or need to attend an appointment or take a break we can step in and provide reliable, professional care. It is free to register with our back up care service and once registered there is no obligation to avail of the service.
